Our 10th Anniversary Conference
Get ready for an unforgettable experience! The Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, in collaboration with the Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice at Texas Southern University, is thrilled to announce the 10th Anniversary HBCU Climate Change Conference, happening in-person from March 5 to 9, 2025!
This is your chance to join a vibrant community of HBCU faculty, students, researchers, climate professionals, and local residents who are tackling the real-world challenges of climate change. Together, we’ll dive into pressing issues like climate justice, community resilience, and the impact of severe weather events.
But that’s not all! We’re excited to invite local middle and high school students to be part of the action. You’ll get hands-on with climate science and see how your everyday choices shape the planet. Get ready for interactive sessions packed with fun, including computer-simulated games that will challenge your thinking and spark your creativity!
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and make a difference in the fight against climate change! Join us for a week of inspiration and innovation!
